"That's how dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked pretty well so far"

We saw Iron Man on Saturday. Awesome.

First movie I'd actually looked forward to in a long time. Is it just me, or do movies really bite lately? Here's why I liked Iron Man:

- Delicious use of sarcasm and irony
- A hero who was very human (read:flawed) [My problem with Superman as 'the hero' is a totally different post]
- The villain had a great name: Obadiah Stane (pronounced 'stain')
- There were lots of cool 'splosions.

I recommend you see this film. At least twice.

Now Natalie, Kayla and I have to go see Baby Mama, cause goodness knows our husbands would rather have teeth pulled than go to a movie about female relationships and pregnancy. But, other than that, I'm looking forward to this movie, this movie, this one and this one. Guess I need to start saving up my pennies.

What movies are you looking forward to this summer?

We loved that movie! We saw it Thursday night (8:00), and the plan is to see it again...soon.

I like your blog. It's no substitute for seeing you in person, of course, but it's pretty cool.
